This place was FULLY EQUIPPED in general with an amicable and super-friendly staff team. Stunning and magnificent location in a beautiful area, in the peaceful area. A wide array of food options not very far from the venue.

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and the well-maintained grounds and swimming pools were a major plus. We had an amazing time with our 4 to 10-year-old child at Casa De Sao Miguel Douro! The beautiful surroundings and friendly staff made it a perfect family getaway. Our little one absolutely loved the swimming pool. It was a fantastic space for them to splash around and have fun.

My wife says that it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available.

The Rustic Charm: Staying at this 17th-century guest house was like stepping back in time. The house still maintains all its traditional architectural features, creating a unique and charming atmosphere.

Uncomfortable Beds: Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the wineries in the Douro Valley. It is close to douro center but not in the middle of all the tourist spots, providing a peaceful and authentic experience. the rooms are well-maintained and the service provided by the staff is exceptional. the breakfast, although simple, is enjoyable. the view of the green vineyards from the terrace and gardens adds to the charm of the hotel.

The lack of room keys may be inconvenient for some guests.

The room had a cozy seating area where I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The views of the garden and the swimming pool from my room were absolutely stunning. The air-conditioned apartment was perfect for keeping cool during the hot summer days. I loved having a cable TV in my room, it was a great way to wind down before bed. The furnished balcony offered a lovely spot to enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful views. The tile/marble floor in the twin/double room gave it a touch of elegance. The room service at Casa De Sao Miguel Douro was a convenient option for when I didn't feel like going out to eat.

Personally, I would have preferred a room without a tile/marble floor as it felt a bit cold underfoot.
